The New York Yankees were honored by President Barack Obama on Monday for winning their 27th Championship in 2009.
The team gave President Obama a #27 jersey that was signed by members of the last year's championship club.
Randy Winn, who was not a member of last year's club, elected not to attend the event.
New Yankee additions Curtis Granderson and Javier Vazquez, however, did join in on the festivities.
